A Living World: Playerbots
What sets Kal'Rend apart from most small servers is the playerbots — roughly 550 populate the world at any time.
They quest in the open zones, run dungeons and raids, queue for battlegrounds, duel outside the cities, and list gear on the auction house. The result: the world stays busy whether or not other real players are online. Cities feel lived-in, group content has bodies to fill it, and the economy actually moves.
You can invite bots to your own group to tackle dungeons solo-but-not-alone, and the auction-house bot keeps buying and selling so your listings actually sell.
We tune the bot population so the hubs feel busy without turning into a wall of nameplates.
